May 10—The Caldwell Men's Chorus had their annual Spring "Coral" Concert on Saturday, April 27, at 7:30 p.m. at the Lenoir Presbyterian Church.

The pirate-themed concert featured a number of sea shanties and pirate songs, including classics like "Leave Her Johnny, Leave Her" and "What do you do with a Drunken Sailor?"

The Caldwell Men's Chorus is a 501c3 non-profit that was formed around 1995, with current director Keith Smith directing the group since 2006, according to Smith.

The group presents concerts every spring and fall, generally the last Saturday in April and Saturday before Thanksgiving, respectively.
