Busch Gardens’ Loch Ness Monster roller coaster to reopen May 10

There will be a sighting of the Loch Ness Monster on May 10, but unlike its namesake, it’s here to stay.

The Busch Gardens roller coaster closed for several months to undergo a restoration. A portion of the twisting, looping yellow track has been replaced and new elements have been added.

Those with a Busch Gardens membership will have early access to the ride from May 2-5.

“For several decades, Loch Ness Monster has been a fan-favorite attraction for millions of guests,” said Kevin Lembke, president of Busch Gardens and Water Country USA, in a news release.
