Bridgerton fans: Boy do we have news for you!
While loyal fans of the Netflix series likely already know that the period drama has been renewed for two more seasons, what they likely don’t know is that you can buy Bridgerton-esque home decor created by one of the show’s very own.
Allow us to introduce you to Liz Poole, the founder and creative director of Velvet Linen. In addition to having her own homewares brand, Liz is also a Sussex-based costume maker responsible not only for many Bridgerton 'fits but ensembles for Hamilton, too.
While fans eagerly await news of the official Bridgerton Season 3 premiere, Liz is making the most of the hiatus by launching her Cottage Garden cushion and quilt collections, which are set to debut in September of this year. Inspired by the elegance and tradition of cottage gardens, Liz’s Cottage Garden collection boasts versatile fabrics printed with blooming florals and greenery—every element of which has a Bridgerton-worthy flair.
“My cottage garden in the heart of the Sussex countryside has always been a source of inspiration to me, and one day whilst doing some research I came across some beautiful Gertrude Jekyll garden designs, I thought how wonderful it would be to make a collection that embodied the cottage garden feel whilst being flexible enough to work in many types of home, whether it be an elegant townhouse or country idyll,” she said in a media release, referencing the inspiration behind the collection.
The collection will range from £85-£660, or around $105-$815. Although Liz’s Cottage Garden collection is going to be available for worldwide shipping, the launch is still a ways off. Luckily for Bridgerton fans, she has another, more recent launch to take note of. The new Velvet Linen Flower Diary table linen range is here just in time for summer and features gorgeous floral borders against an off-white background. And with plenty of hints of purple, it's a shoo-in for Bridgerton fans, as well.
