The episode starts with Tomozaki giving Fuuka new ideas for the story’s ending. He tells her to view the story from both the author’s and the character’s perspectives. He also references Andii’s books and how they helped her see a whole new world.

Tomozaki tells her that her friends from school are nothing more than school friends. He tells her not to change herself since she is perfectly fine the way she is. Kikuchi is happy to hear that. She has always viewed herself as a person who doesn’t belong anywhere. Tomozaki then tells Kikuchi he wants to talk to her after the play while Mimimi hides in the background.

Later on, Aoi and Tomozaki meet. She asks him if he has finally decided, and he says yes. The festival starts, and Tomozaki and Mimimi perform. The two go to celebrate on the roof but are interrupted when Tomozaki gets an alert for the play. Mimimi notices his concern and tells him to go, as she knows who is in his heart. The episode ends with Tomozaki’s arrival and the play commencing.
