Blake Lively Pre-Games the Met Gala in a Shimmering Mermaid Dress With Faux Fish Scales

Blake Lively stepped out in New York City last night to celebrate Pharrell Williams's launch of the new Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams collection at Tiffany & Co, and wowwwww at her look.

Blake wore a shimmering mermaid-esque dress with blue faux scales, which is best described as a vibe straight out of Aquamarine (a fish out of water comedy, iykyk).

Blake is currently gearing up for the It Ends With Us press tour (the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's best-selling book) and told People that her character "Lily resonated with an enormous amount of people, as the success of the book made clear." She added, "Stepping into a character who’s had such a meaningful impact is an honor to take on. I loved Lily. And I hope that love is felt by those who care about her like I do, and also those who are getting to know her for the first time in this film."

Meanwhile, Hoover called Blake's performance “captivating, stunning and emotional,” and said “There aren’t enough words to describe her phenomenal talent. Blake Lively truly brought Lily Bloom to life in a way that exceeded all my expectations. When I wrote Lily’s character, I thought I had a fairly solid image in mind, but Blake’s portrayal added so much depth and complexity to the character that I didn’t even anticipate.”

Can't wait for this movie! Which, by the way, comes out in August.
