BLACKPINK and fragment design Tease Coachella Collaboration

BLACKPINK and Hiroshi Fujiwara's fragment design have joined forces for a Coachella collaboration with Interscope Records, seemingly arriving to commemorate the K-pop group's headliner slot.

A sneak peek at the forthcoming collab was teased on Instagram, where Fujiwara shared a closer look at the potential offering. Arriving in the form of a black T-shirt, the collaboration featured a contrasting mix of black and pink hues, alongside a fragment design reimagining of the record label's distinctive logo.

The T-shirt also boasts lettering which reads "BLACKPINK/INTERSCOPE/FRAGMENT," complete with fragment design's lightning bolt motif and the words "COACHELLA 2023," likely as a nod to BLACKPINK's headline performance at the festival this past weekend.

The new collaboration arrives just after Interscope Records teamed up with fragment design and 2pac for a collection of hoodies, T-shirts, and bandanas. Little else is known about the collaboration or its official release date at present, but given that BLACKPINK's performance took place this last weekend, we expect more info to drop pretty soon.

In the meantime, take an early look at the forthcoming collab above and while you're here, find out more about the rare plant species that was recently named after BLACKPINK's Lisa.
