The Black Keys announce Pittsburgh concert in October

PITTSBURGH ― The Black Keys announced a 2024 North American headline tour that visits PPG Paints Arena on Oct. 10.

General sales start at 10 a.m. Friday.

American Express card members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday through 10 a.m. Thursday. Additional presales will run throughout the week, with details at livenation.com and theblackkeys.com.

The 31-date tour features The Head and The Heart as direct support.

The Black Keys last played Pittsburgh in October 2019, also at PPG Paints Arena.

The group has a new album, "Ohio Players," out Friday.

The tour announcement follows two stand-out performances by the Ohio-bred rock band at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, where the group also debuted its new documentary, "This is a Film About The Black Keys"to rave reviews. Ahead of this leg of the tour, The Black Keys will head to Europe to debut the brand-new live show.
