Ben & Jerry's Is Releasing Non-Dairy Versions of Their Most Popular Flavors

If there's one thing Ben & Jerry's knows how to do, it's how to keep their fans on their toes. After just releasing their Limited Batch Totally Unbaked flavor (which has cookie dough and brownie batter!) and those delicious Sugar Cookie Dough Chunks earlier this year, the beloved ice cream brand is back with an extension of its applaudable non-dairy line. And, they've added five flavors to their line-up! Is 2021 shaping up to be the best or what?!

To kick off their new offerings, Ben & Jerry's announced a brand new flavor in partnership with freedom fighter Colin Kaepernick. Named Change the Whirled, the new flavor honors the former football player's veganism and is made with a sunflower butter caramel base, fudge chips, graham cracker and chocolate cookie swirls. If that doesn't sound like deliciousness in one scoop, I don't know what does! Full proceeds from purchases of this flavor will go to Know Your Rights Camp—a non-profit co-founded by Kaepernick that works to fight oppression against Black and Brown people.

That's not all though. Ben & Jerry's has also given four of their most popular flavors the non-dairy treatment, too. Joining the already popular line of non-dairy frozen desserts—which now amounts to 19 total—are fan-favorite tastes Phish Food (a chocolate base with gooey marshmallow swirls, caramel swirls, and fudge fish), Karamel Sutra (chocolate & caramel base with fudge chips and a soft caramel core), Americone Dream (vanilla base with fudge-covered waffle cone pieces and a caramel swirl), and Tonight Dough (caramel & chocolate base with chocolate cookie swirls, chocolate chip cookie cough, and peanut butter cookie dough).

Each of the new pint flavors are available nationwide and have a retail price of anywhere between $4.99 and $5.49. Honestly, though, for something so good? I'd pay double to get my hands on it.
