Bella Thorne's horrifying skin routine, Jennifer Aniston's 'unrecognizable' cover and more news from the week

Bella Thorne horrifies fans with damaging skin care routine video

In a new video for Harper’s Bazaar’s #GoToBedWithMe YouTube series, former Disney star Bella Thorne demonstrates her nightly skin care ritual. She details her difficult history with cystic acne and swears by a homemade all-natural product, recommended to her by a woman named Jenny, which she credits with changing her skin. Thorne explains that her skin is “very oily underneath and dry on top.” The remedy that Jenny has concocted for her is a scrub made from lemon, olive oil and sugar, and Thorne revealed plans to start a skin care brand with the help of Jenny. Users immediately voiced their concerns across Reddit and Twitter that the video misinforms viewers, calling Thorne’s DIY mixture “dangerous.” Many alarmed viewers simply called it “the worst skin care routine” they’ve ever seen.

Billie Eilish furious over topless magazine cover: ‘I did not consent in any way’

Billie Eilish took to social media to call out Nylon Germany for a magazine cover she “did not consent” to. The publication named a number of “digital prodigies” in a series of magazine covers. One featured the 17-year-old singer using effects to make her appear topless and bald. Eilish claims that she and her team were never informed about the cover and that the image created is completely digital. She enumerated the reasons the cover bothered her, and listed her age being one of them: “You’re gonna make a picture of me shirtless>> that’s not real?? At 17?” The publication Nylon America issued a statement condemning the cover, stating it is a seperate company entirely and “we strongly disagree with their decision to appropriate Billie Eilish’s image without her consent.”
