If there is one person most responsible for the return of Y2K fashion, it’s probably Bella Hadid, and her latest Cannes look is no exception. The younger Hadid sister was photographed at the Chopard “Once Upon a Time” evening on May 21 in a vintage Dsquared2 gown from 2006—which looks like something Emily from The Devil Wears Prada would have physically fought Andy to be able to wear.

The silver silk gown was featured as part of the brand’s fall ready-to-wear collection (per Vogue) and features a dramatic open back with crystal-embellished spaghetti straps. The dress has a short train and a slim silhouette, with an extremely mid-aughts plunging neckline. Hadid styled the throwback look with silver sandals, a diamond pendant necklace, a few diamond rings, and matching drop earrings. She wore her hair in a slicked-back bun and kept her makeup and manicure minimal.

Bella Hadid is arguably winning the Cannes fashion game this year. Her noteworthy looks also included her sheer Saint Laurent halter dress, a gold micro-minidress, and, on an off-day, a teeny-tiny baby pink bikini.

Bella Hadid may not have a film to promote at the iconic film festival, but she is definitely challenging the rest of the attendees to up their style game.
