Bayou bon vivant festival coming to Downtown Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A little piece of Louisiana is coming to Norfolk from May 17-19.

With food, music and art the Bayou bon vivant festival is expected to bring New Orleans charm to Downtown Norfolk. The three-day event is scheduled to have traditional New Orleans vibes with crawfish, jazz music and colorful paintings.

Guests are required to purchase tickets for the festivities except for first two hours on Friday.

  • Friday: 12-2 p.m. (free & open to the public) 2-10 p.m. (tickets required)

  • Saturday: 12-10 p.m.

  • Sunday: 12- 6 p.m.
