'Bargain Block' Fans: Prepare for Two New Seasons This Fall

Good news Bargain Block fans, Keith Bynum, Evan Thomas, and Shea Hicks-Whitfield are headed back to a TV near you soon! After a successful season three, HGTV renewed Bargain Block for season four and even greenlit a new Bargain Block spin-off, Bargain Block: New Orleans!

“Millions of HGTV fans have loved watching Keith, Evan and Shea improve more than half a dozen Detroit neighborhoods for home buyers, families and residents,” says Loren Ruch, head of content for HGTV. “This new 10-episode order will help them continue their mission to revitalize as many properties as possible there. We’re also expanding this popular concept in a spinoff series, Bargain Block: New Orleans. Keith and Evan will restore crumbling homes in the Big Easy, creating safe, beautiful and attainable starter homes.”

Bargain Block: New Orleans will follow the same format of Bargain Block we all know and love, just a few hundred miles south of Detroit, where the crew normally works and films. Of course, with a new location comes new challenges, including hurricane damage and strict construction codes.

“Millions of home renovation enthusiasts have tuned in to see Keith, Evan and Shea’s passion for improving Detroit communities in Bargain Block for three seasons, making it a strong ratings driver for the network,” Loren explained. “We know their legions of fans will want to follow them to New Orleans and watch them transform and preserve this one-of-a-kind city.”

The 10-episode season four and the 5-episode spin-off series are both set to premiere on HGTV in fall 2024. While fans still have a few months to wait for the two new seasons, Keith, Evan and Shea have been hard at work filming, renovating and listing since January. Keith and Evan have also become fan favorites on season 5 of Rock the Block.

The exact premiere dates for Bargain Block season four and Bargain Block: New Orleans have not been announced, but in the meantime fans can catch up on past seasons on Max now!
