Bachelor Nation Faves Greg Grippo And Victoria Fuller Split!

"The Bachelor's" Victoria Fuller is giving back her rose. After dating since late 2022, Fuller, 30, and Greg Grippo, 30, of "The Bachelorette" fame, have officially announced their split.

Social Media Sleuths Speculated About Split

US Weekly reported that Fuller and Grippo's social media presence fueled breakup rumors.

"The pair appeared to be going strong, but eagle-eyed fans noticed some social media activity that pointed to trouble in paradise. Grippo and Fuller had not shared a joint Instagram photo since December 2023, and earlier this month, they unfollowed each other. Fuller and Grippo previously sparked split speculation last summer. At the time, she subtly quieted the rumors by posting a pic of Grippo with her dogs," said the magazine.

Grippo appeared as a guest on the Aug. 22 episode of "The Bachelorette" alum Jason Tartick's podcast, "Trading Secrets," where he confirmed the split with Fuller.

“Being in a public relationship and if it’s… things aren’t working out, it sucks even more,” the "The Bachelorette" star said. “It’s hard. So yeah, I mean it’s sad, to be honest with you. It’s like, really sad. And you know, I just want to respect her during this time and you know, not going into detail on anything.”

A Rocky Start For Fuller And Grippo

The beginning of Grippo and Fuller's relationship caused drama amongst 'Bachelor' Nation fans because Fuller had previously been engaged to Johnny DePhillipo.

“She has a really good heart and yeah, it sucks because you know, seeing somebody go through that type of s---, especially somebody you’re with in a romantic relationship with, is really tough. It’s really hard to watch. And I hated that part of it all. It definitely made us really close and we were definitely able to like, go through a really hard time really early," Grippo said on the podcast.

"At the time, some viewers thought the couple’s relationship overlapped with Fuller’s engagement to Johnny DePhillipo, whom she got engaged to on 'Bachelor in Paradise' season 8. DePhillipo, 27, claimed he and Fuller ended their engagement in mid-September, while Fuller alleged they broke up three weeks after filming BiP ended in July," said People magazine.

Fuller And Grippo Defended Their Relationship

Grippo and Fuller first confirmed their relationship during the "Bachelor in Paradise" reunion.

"[Fuller] also denied cheating on DePhillipo, 26, though, her now-ex-fiancé countered: 'I still consider talking to someone else while we're working on our issues cheating or emotional cheating.' Grippo then joined Fuller onstage and explained how they met: 'We've been friends for a while. We met last year through mutual friends.' After initially building a friendship, he revealed that they didn't choose to explore a possible romantic bond until after she returned from 'Paradise.' 'I was like, you know what, we're at this moment where we're really interested in one another and I was like, I want to take you out for a drink. So, you want to go to Rome in two days?' In defense of the relationship, Fuller said: 'No one has to understand it or get it and that's OK. But everyone can hate us if they f---ing want.'

Grippo Says Fuller Is 'Amazing'

Grippo said that despite the split, he still has a soft spot for his ex.

“I don’t have anything bad to say. She’s amazing and I know that she’s going to continue to do amazing things,” he said on the podcast.

He also defended her against criticisms she might face from fans.

“I think that the women in the franchise get attacked, especially just a select few of them, no matter what they do. And like, granted I think it goes for a lot of the people but especially I think for, you know, her, she can … anything she does gets scrutinized, I feel like.”

Grippo Says Life Feels 'Fresh' Following Split

Grippo said that after the breakup, which he described as "heavy for the both of us," he's in "repair mode" while he heals. He plans to move from his current city, Chicago, to Brooklyn shortly.

“This stage of my life right now, I’m really happy about and excited for. It’s just like, it just feels really fresh.”
