A.B. Quintanilla's apology after rant

Musician A.B. Quintanilla posted a nearly six-minute apology video on his Instagram page, but it has since been deleted. In the video, Quintanilla explained his behavior was a result of not taking his medication.

Three weeks before, Quintanilla said a doctor suggested he get tested for cancer. He had to pause some of his prescribed medication so it wouldn't interfere with the biopsy results.

“I broke last night. I said things that I don’t mean, that I don’t feel in my heart. From the bottom of my heart, I’d like to apologize to everybody,” said Quintanilla.

In the video, Quintanilla said he has not been diagnosed with any form of cancer.

Tejano music star A.B. Quintanilla exploded at fans during his Tejano Explosion performance in San Antonio Saturday night.

"Like somebody put a gun to your head and forced you to be here tonight," Quintanilla was recorded saying. Quintanilla's rant was met by boos and retorts from the crowd. The musician vowed to never perform in his hometown again.

"This is my last performance for you, I’ll ever do," he said. "I’m just being truthful with you. I traveled all the way from Las Vegas, received love all the way from over there. I come to my hometown in Texas, San Antonio, and I got no f***ing love over here, man. That’s not cool."

As if that weren't enough, Quintanilla made a dig at the Dallas Cowboys football team.

"Just like you support the Dallas Cowboys, who lose every f****** year."
