Audacy Oceanfront Concerts: What to know about the Virginia Beach event this weekend

Audacy’s Oceanfront Concerts this weekend at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront will offer a mix of free afternoon concerts with local artists and ticketed nighttime shows by headliners.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Local acts will jam from noon to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday at the 17th and 24th street stages.

  • National acts will perform Friday and Saturday beginning at 5 p.m. on the sand between 29th Street and Neptune’s Park.

  • Attendees must enter the main concert area at 29th Street. The Boardwalk and bike path from 29th Street to 33rd Street, the 30th Street public restroom and the King Neptune statue will be part of the event site and will not be accessible by the general public until Tuesday, according to the city.

  • There isn’t designated parking; street parking and garages are nearby.

  • Tickets: one-day general, $29; two-day, $39; one-day VIP tickets, $59; two-day VIP passes, $79. VIP passes include a separate entrance, premium viewing area, air-conditioned restrooms and select vendors.
