The 35-year-old actress and singer took to Instagram on Monday to share a photo of her growing belly. “So much of the time we give our love to others. Let’s start loving ourselves and our bodies in every shape and form,” she wrote. “Our bodies do a lot for us every day and we neglect to acknowledge that. Thank your body and say I love you.”
Tisdale announced that she and her husband Christopher French are expecting their first child together in September with a series of sweet photos of the couple on social media. Since then, she has posted a number of updates regarding her changing figure and how she’s been taking care of herself during her pregnancy.
“Yoga has gotten me through this entire pregnancy and life,” she shared in January. “Whenever I feel anxious I do yoga and it makes all the noise of the world go away and I get very present in the moment.”
Tisdale recently shared in a post on her lifestyle blog Frenshe that she felt “scrutinized, judged and made to feel ashamed” over her 2007 nose job.
“The bottom line: it was a very traumatic experience for me and it makes me very emotional to this day,” she wrote. “Plastic surgery wasn’t culturally accepted then like it is now. When I got it done I was scrutinized, judged, and made to feel ashamed over my decision.
