You won’t catch Alex Rodriguez in his spare time surrounded by piles of freshly washed clothes waiting to be folded.

“I’ve probably done laundry, as an adult, I’m ashamed to say, probably less than five times,” the former MLB star admitted to Us Weekly.

But that could all change in the not too distant future. The former MLB star, 48, has teamed up with Lysol, which has come out with a new detergent.

In an ad for the stuff, ARod plays a Little League coach, who, after losing a bet has to trade places with an equipment manager.

The Westminster Christian alum shared the hilarious spot on his Instagram.

Que desastre!” he says, standing in a locker room, dangling a kid’s dirty sock on the end of a stick.

After successfully putting all the filthy pinstripes through a few loads, Rodriguez appears more relaxed.

“Everything smells so fresh,” says the Coral Gables resident. “I could get used to this gig.”

Someone who is already used to the gig is ARod’s 19-year-old daughter Natasha, a freshman at the University of Michigan.

“It’s funny, we speak almost every night,” the “Shark Tank” star told UsWeekly. “A couple nights a week, she’s in the laundry room doing her laundry.”
