Ariana Madix Reveals Expensive Purchase That Wasn’t ‘The Wisest’ Move

Does Ariana Madix have more money than she knows what to do with? Maybe. Who knows? But odds are, the Vanderpump Rules star has been cashing in big after the success of Season 10.

However, it would seem Ariana used her money well. Despite some likely expenditures an on upcoming sandwich shop (not to mention a lawsuit or two), Ariana is probably doing just fine financially.

So, the fact that the public doesn’t hear horror stories about her expenditure is a good sign. On the other hand, by Ariana’s own admission, she’s made some mistakes when it comes to purchases.

The evolution of Ariana’s fashion choices

In a recent interview with Fashionista, Ariana revealed a regrettable purchase. “My first [big splurge] — and honestly, I’m still not a big splurger — there were two things: There was a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and a little Gucci bag. But I realized over time that spending money on shoes is not exactly the wisest thing to do, because you wear them. So I’ve stopped doing that.”

Ariana also spoke on the ways she found herself through fashion. “There’s been a lot of time in my life where I felt like fashion wasn’t for me because fashion is for the tall, rail-thin … Now, I feel like fashion is much more accessible, not just consumer-wise, but in terms of who you are and what you want to wear and your individual style. I love that.”

Moving from New York to LA, Ariana felt somewhat insecure in her fashion choices. “When I came out here, it felt like my vibe was not matching my surroundings. So, very slowly, I started to open up … I went through a phase where I went so far in that direction that I wasn’t myself anymore. Now, in my late thirties, I’m finally finding the groove of what actually feels like me.”
