April Kirkwood Shares Cryptic Message On Theresa Nist's Split From Gerry Turner

'The Golden Bachelor' star April Kirkwood has shared a shady comment on Theresa Nist's social media post following Nist's divorce from Gerry Turner.

As The Blast has previously reported, Turner and Nist announced their divorce during a 'Good Morning America' segment last week. The two were only married for three months.

Following the news, many reality stars shared their love and support for the former couple, but one of Nist's friends from the show shared something a bit more cryptic.

Theresa Nist And Gerry Turner Announce Divorce

Nist and Turner got engaged during the 'Golden Bachelor' finale and married just a few months later in a televised ceremony, 'The Golden Wedding,' on January 4, 2024.

Unfortunately, the two have mutually decided to dissolve their marriage, which they announced on Friday, April 12 on 'Good Morning America.'

“Theresa and I have had a number of heart-to-heart conversations," Turner began during the 'GMA' interview. "And we’ve looked closely at our situation, our living situation, so forth and -- and we’ve kind of come to the conclusion mutually that it’s probably time for us to dissolve our marriage."

“We have received so much love and support from so many people who watched ‘The Golden Bachelor,’ and I don’t think we can tell you how many people told us that it gave them so much hope," Nist added. "We want none of that to change for anybody.”

Theresa Nist Asks Fans To Have 'A Little Kindness' Following Divorce News

While many have shared support for Nist, others have seemingly flooded her direct messages demanding answers. Following the news, the New Jersey resident shared a statement on social media.

"To everyone who has expressed love, support, and kindness to me, I thank you from the bottom of my heart," Nist stated. "You are all such wonderful human beings. It means the world to me that you took the time to reach out to me, whether in person, on the phone, by text, or by direct message. You are all so kind to do so."

"For everyone else who is confused and angry and who does not understand, please try to find it in your heart to understand and to try a little kindness," she added. "Not just for me, but for the world and for everyone you encounter."

The comments section was mostly filled with love for the reality star, but one comment stood out to fans. It came from one of Nist's 'The Golden Bachelor' co-stars.

What Did April Kirkwood Say To Theresa Nist?

April Kirkwood, who appeared alongside Nist on 'The Golden Bachelor,' was sent home during Week 4, but she returned for the 'Women Tell All' and 'The Golden Wedding.' She has also stayed in touch with many of the women from her season.

Kirkwood and Nist had a special bond when on the reality show, one so strong that Kirkwood seemed to have warned Nist about Turner.

"I wish you the very best," Kirkwood commented on Nist's post. "I truly tried to tell you, but this was your lesson to experience. Much love."

Dave Neil, host of 'Bachelor Rush Hour,' wrote, "Now [is] not the time, April. Yikes."

April Kirkwood Wants Women To Be 'Empowered'

In a second comment, Kirkwood stated, "I care for all women in the world. I want us all to learn from each other and be smart and empowered. Lessons offer us the opportunity. We’ve all had our hearts broken…what we do with it is entirely up to us! Let’s rock this world, ladies. Theresa can lead the way!"

She then apologized. "I would like to publicly apologize for my error in judgment. I sincerely meant no ill will," she stated in a later comment. "I wish all women only peace and power to be their best selves. This was not one for me. Much love and gratitude for understanding."

Theresa Nist Receives Support From Bachelor Nation

Bachelor Nation flooded Nist's comments section to express sympathy, including 'Golden Bachelor' alum Leslie Fhima. "I love you, my friend. I'm so happy to call you that. You're beautiful inside and out," she wrote.

Lexi Young, who appeared on Season 28 of 'The Bachelor,' commented, "You’re such a beautiful human inside & out! So lucky to have crossed paths!"

Gerry Turner has not commented on the divorce following the 'GMA' segment.
