Anya Taylor-Joy's 'Furiosa' Press Fashion Is Fit for a Warrior

Anya Taylor-Joy is a bird of the same feather as Zendaya and Margot Robbie — meaning, she loves to dress the part on a press tour.

Right now, she's promoting "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga," a post-apocalyptic action film that's the prequel to George Miller's "Mad Max: Fury Road." It follows the rise of Furiosa (Taylor-Joy, but played by Charlize Theron in the 2015 movie), a young girl kidnapped by warlord Dementus (Chris Hemsworth), who then must fight to survive and eventually grows to become a war captain. Naturally, that's inspired Taylor-Joy and stylist Ryan Hastings to spotlight fashion that's nothing less than warrior-worthy.

They've pulled an impressive roster of credits so far: Highlights include a terracotta-hued Rick Owens number from the brand's Spring 2024 collection and a custom Balmain metal mini dress. But there's no question her arrow-adorned Paco Rabanne Haute Couture Spring 1996 mini takes the crown as the most talked-about look of her press run (until now).
