If we have to pick anyone to be the face of gothic romantic style, all bets are on Anya Taylor-Joy.
The Furiosa star has a known affection for the creepy and spine-chilling—need we remind you of the horror thrillers she’s starred in (The Witch, Last Night in Soho), or the bloody “anatomically correct heart cakes” she served at her own wedding?
At a Tiffany & Co. party held in Beverly Hills on Thursday night, Taylor-Joy blended the best of her gothic romantic sensibilities with her impeccable taste. She and stylist Ryan Hastings selected an incredible corset gown from Hamda Al Fahim Fall/Winter 2024 couture collection. The dress, completely awash in a moody burnt umber color, features a sculpted strapless corset sinking into a draped velvet skirt with a small train pooling at the ground beneath her feet.
While the dress is stunning on its own, Taylor-Joy upped the ante with an array of dazzling Tiffany & Co. jewelry fit for both a Beverly Hills party or a Victorian doll house. The matching set—consisting of a flashy necklace, earrings, ring, and bracelet—provided a pop of color in the form of pear-shaped pink gemstones engulfed by a spray of diamonds.
Taylor-Joy’s relationship with the luxury jeweler spans years, with the actor officially becoming a brand ambassador in 2021. “I love jewelry that has symbolism in it,” she said of her partnership with Tiffany in a press release statement at the time. “I love it to mean something to me. It doesn’t necessarily have to mean anything to anybody else, but I like to look down at my fingers and have a story.”
