Anya Taylor-Joy has been very busy promoting her new film, Last Night in Soho.
And the 25-year-old actress stunned every single time, posting all the outfits she wore in one day to Instagram. In one ensemble, she’s sporting a pale lavender crop top paired with a matching beribboned skirt. I just have to say, her abs are killer!
Anya says dancing is what keeps her in shape.
Anya Taylor-Joy is busy promoting her new movie, Last Night in Soho, and she just did an Instagram photo drop of all the epic outfits she wore in one day.
There’s Anya in a next-level floral catsuit at The Late Late Show with James Corden, Anya in a pretty strapless orange dress on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Anya (with her impressive abs) in a chic two-piece lavender outfit.
“The poses of someone who completed press for @lastnightinsohomovie in one day 😹♥️,” she wrote in the caption. “THANK YOU to @theellenshow + @latelateshow for letting me nerd out about eggs + whales 🥚🐋. Also to the lovely @richardquinn for letting bae + I collaborate with him on this epic catsuit :) @paulburgo.”
People were all about Anya’s looks in the comments. “Super 😘🌟,” one wrote. “ABSOLUTE ICON,” someone else said.
Anya looks super toned in every pic—and those abs are killer. So just how did she get so fit? The 25-year-old actress actually has a dancing background.
“I used to be a ballet dancer. I haven’t danced properly now for a couple of years, but I do one exercise class and immediately my poise comes back, and my muscles remember,” she previously told Harper’s Bazaar. “I always dance first thing in the morning, silly crazy dancing. I do it to at least three songs, because it sets me up for the day.”
Anya says she missed how strong her body used to be when she was a dancer. “I’m getting back into dancing properly, and also kickboxing,” she said. “I just did my first Pilates reformer class and loved it. So I’m trying to find a way of incorporating exercise more into my routine simply because you have to be strong to do this job.”
Anya also said that she has “too much energy,” adding that “it is better for me to put it into something like boxing than to be let loose into the world with it.”
Anya told Elle UK that her schedule is so busy that “the whole day feels like exercise,” noting that she usually has to wake up at 4 a.m. and go straight to work. “I want to get back into ballet and hip-hop dance classes,” she said. “They help me to focus on one moment clearly.”
Anya is big on eating well, too.
“I’ve been a vegetarian since I was eight, so I don’t touch meat or fish,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “I was vegan for a long time I got into it because it’s the most ecologically conscious choice you can make as a consumer. When I was a vegan it was the healthiest I’ve ever felt, because I had so much energy. I was eating a ton because I have a really big appetite and was getting in more greens. As a vegetarian I love a lot of Italian food—but I don’t get that many greens in there!”
