Anya Taylor-Joy is about to single-handedly bring back the fancy hat as a women’s fashion staple. The Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga actor had another major headpiece moment at Cannes on May 16, which she paired with a midriff-baring skirt suit. The whole thing is giving Ladies Who Lunch of the Future.

Let’s start with the flapper-inspired cap, which was white and covered in sequins, with a beaded fringe detail hanging over the forehead and highlighting Taylor-Joy’s dramatic smoky eye. To match the jazz-age headpiece, Taylor-Joy wore a two-piece white bouclé skirt suit with rough hems to lend the ’fit a dystopian edge. The double-breasted jacket was cropped, revealing the actor’s midsection, and paired with a midi-length pencil skirt. She finished the look with strappy white sandals.

While still dramatic, this look is slightly friendlier than the spike-covered Paco Rabanne dress and matching headpiece Anya Taylor-Joy wore to the Australian Furiosa premiere a few weeks earlier. But no matter what she’s wearing, you can always count on Taylor-Joy to give a hundred percent. She told The New York Times in a recent interview that while filming Furiosa, she would sometimes go for months on set without speaking any dialogue at all. “I’ve never been more alone than making that movie. I don’t want to go too deep into it, but everything that I thought was going to be easy was hard.”
