Heading should read..."Media exploits Bourdain from the grave." Media refuses to leave dead personality alone against his wishes.

Guess Bourdain didn't think much of the funeral "celebration". Seemed bored by the food, even agitated. Can't understand the "Harrod's" remark. He didn't seem like a shopper. Too bad he didn't take a long vacation, really needed to connect with the joy of simple things, people and places. Needed some peace. Hope he found it.
C
He has seemed out of sorts in every episode of this season, not happy, rarely with his bright smile, reflective. I am surprised his crew didn't notice, maybe they did I don't know.
G
Just goes to show you never know what people are dealing with.
T
He seemed like a great guy. A guy you could have a conversation with on almost any subject - argue points, laugh and just be comfortable. That is living. I wish he was still with us.

The man obviously had depression issues and was used by producers to provide entertainment.
C
a couple a years ago I would join most of the nasty comments about Bourdain's suicide as a rich guy not know how good they had it... after dealing with a suicidal person for a while I finally relies that the concept that suicidal nature isn't so much mind set as it is a disease really does apply here.
M
Bourdain was a cool, down to earth man...I only wish someone could have gotten thru to him and helped...I’m sure his friends tried.
P
I watched the episode before when he was with Fenand Adria in Spain. He seemed happy and enjoying his time with his friend. Fernand certainly loves life and his country and Anthony was cracking jokes and seemed relaxed. So sad that he couldn't keep that feeling.
D
His father was an executive at Columbia Records. His mother was an editor with the New York Times. He was well read, and knew his music.
Then, he became a man who cooked food.
His knew food was a way to find a common connection in a diverse world of culture.
Bourdain gave us something to ponder, celebrate, and even be appalled at. His was an old soul, and perhaps a weary one, in seeing first hand the realities of human existence.
