American Idol continued its search for the next singing sensation with another night of performances critiqued by judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.

Tonight, the top 5 each performed two songs from the Disney songbook, after getting a little help from country music star Kane Brown, who served as mentor for the Top 5 from Walt Disney World.

Then, America's live vote determined which three of the 5 remaining artists -- Abi Carter, Emmy Russell, Jack Blocker, Triston Harper and Will Moseley -- would make the Top 3 and the finale.

Also on tonight’s broadcast Jenifer Lewis, who starred as Mama Odie in Disney's 2009 film The Princess and the Frog and who will lend her voice to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, an upcoming attraction based on the film, will perform “Dig a Little Deeper.” She was accompanied by eight-time Grammy Award winner Terence Blanchard on the trumpet.

Then America voted live for the American Idol Season 7 on ABC finalists.

Katy said: “For 10 months we carried you. That really opened you up in the right way. Time and time again, I love when you’re up on the stage. Don’t ever forget that you deserve to be up front and center.”
