9:30 p.m. — Previously, on “The Amazing Race”! In the Episode 7, teams put on their best performance in Montevideo, Uruguay, when they chose between banging out a drum routine with street performers or singing a Spanish tune with professional troubadours at the Detour. Boyfriends Ricky & Cesar hit the Pit Stop first for the fourth time this season. Firefighters Sunny & Bizzy hit the mat last and became the seventh team eliminated. Let’s continue the race!

9:37 p.m. — The race continues in Bridgetown, Barbados. Ricky & Cesar and Angie & Danny are first to depart, with the clue directing them to the neighborhood of Fairfield/Black Rock to find their next clue. For the first time ever, Angie & Danny relinquish their navigation leadership and follow Ricky & Cesar, who appear to be a bit lost. They all stop for directions, and complicating matters is a sudden downpour of rain. They’re driving topless jeeps! Everyone is drenched. They all decide to stop again and put the covers up on their cars. Welcome to Barbados!

9:45 p.m. — Leaving in the next group are Rod & Leticia and Amber & Vinny. Fifteen minutes later, Yvonne & Melissa and Juan & Shane depart. Not surprisingly, Ricky & Cesar find the clue box first. It’s a Roadblock. In “Who Wants to Get in the Swing of Things?” one team member must rally against a talented local. If they can score 11 points they’ll be served with a clue. This looks fun!

10:00 p.m. — Many of the teams are struggling with directions, allowing Ricky & Cesar to coast through this. Ricky completes the Roadblock just as Angie & Danny arrive. The boyfriends will now drive to the childhood home of Rihanna to find their next clue. Angie is going to take on this Roadblock and she’s “super excited” because she is a former tennis coach. Ricky & Cesar quickly find Rihanna’s house and the clue instructs them to drive to Long Bay Beach for their next clue. Meanwhile, Angie completes the Roadblock before any other team shows up, putting her and her son comfortably in second place.

10:15 p.m. — Yvonne & Melissa have made up ground, reaching the Roadblock in third place. Rod & Leticia arrive shortly after, with Leticia grabbing the paddle for this Roadblock. Meanwhile, Amber & Vinny are lost and their map is destroyed so they have to stop again for directions. Up in second place, Angie admits she has no idea who Rihanna is, but they’ve found her house. They’re still chasing Ricky & Cesar for first place. Meanwhile, Juan & Shane have reached the Roadblock, putting Amber & Vinny officially in last place. Juan thinks he’s talking to instructors and asks, “Who is the best one?” not realizing he’s going to have to compete with this player. They laugh it off, but Juan is a little concerned at this point. Meanwhile, Yvonne & Melissa have left the Roadblock in third place. Leticia finishes next. putting her and Rod in fourth. As Juan continues to compete, Amber & Vinny arrive. The race is on! Both teams finish this pretty quickly and everyone is officially through this Roadblock.

10:30 p.m. — On the way to Rihanna’s house, Amber & Vinny pass by Juan & Shane with superior navigation skills. They’re heading to Long Bay Beach, with Juan & Shane now in the back of the pack. So, part of the rules of this game is that teams must stay connected to their personal camera and sound crew, or they can’t continue. While driving, Angie loses the crew behind her, causing her and Danny precious time. Up in front, Juan & Shane finally reach the next clue box and it’s a Detour. In “Fish Pot Building,” teams are required to build a fish pot using sticks, wire mesh and thin pieces of wire. If the fisherman decides the fish pot is sturdy enough, they’ll receive their next clue. In “Seaweed Clearing,” teams are required to take part in a cleanup effort. Once they have cleaned and collected one blue barrel full, they’ll receive their clue. Ricky & Cesar choose “Fish Pot Building.”

10:45 p.m. — Angie & Danny arrive at the Detour, but have to wait for their crew to arrive. They’re stuck in their car watching the clock tick down. As they wait, Yvonne & Melissa arrive and choose to do “Fish Pot Building.” Amber & Vinny have made up time and arrive third, also choosing “Fish Pot Building.” Next are Rod & Leticia, choosing “Fish Pot Building,” and Angie & Danny are still waiting in their car, growing increasingly desperate. The crew finally arrives, so Angie & Danny can start this Detour in fifth place. When Juan & Shane arrive last, they become the one and only team to choose the more physical Detour, “Seaweed Clearing.” Ricky & Cesar finish their fish trap and leave for the pit stop in first place. They’ll race to Phil, who is waiting for them at Hastings Rocks. Meanwhile, Juan & Shane have proven to make the right choice at the Detour, leaping from sixth to second as they race off to the pit stop.

11:00 p.m. — Ricky & Cesar meet Phil at the pit stop in first place. Good for them, but as a viewer this is getting a little old. It’s their fifth win in eight episodes. They’ve won $7,500 each. Next to arrive are Juan & Shane. See the full order of finishers below. Back at the Detour, Amber & Vinny and Yvonne & Melissa finish. Racing for last place are Rod & Leticia and Angie & Danny. Unfortunately, Rod & Leticia have no idea they’re missing the corner supports for their fish pot. Eventually they figure it out. Who will reach Phil next and who will be eliminated? Rod & Leticia take off first, but can Angie & Danny make up ground with their navigation skills? In the end, R0d & Leticia survive getting stuck in the mud and finish in fifth place. Angie & Danny arrive last and get eliminated from the race.

Leg 8 results:

1. Ricky & Cesar
2. Juan & Shane
3. Amber & Vinny
4. Yvonne & Melissa
5. Rod & Leticia
6. Angie & Danny (eliminated)
