The Brazilian actress and producer was in town to participate as a member of the Canneseries jury, which also included the likes of Olivier Abbou, Amine Bouhafa and more. Platform shoes and pumps have been a signature part of the actress’ style in recent months. Last week, Braga walked the red carpet in a pair of black pointed-toe heels for the A24 premiere of “Civil War” at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles. For Burberry’s spring 2024 show in London this past September, the producer donned a statement-making furry pair of yellow pumps with a thin stiletto heel that measured 3.5 inches.
While strappy sandals have never been out of style, there’s been an increase in celebrities wearing them as of late. Singer Anitta wore a pair of black strappy shoes to celebrate her birthday in Miami at the end of March. Those shoes featured a glossy tan patent leather, a pointed-toe silhouette and multiple thin straps. Earlier this week, actress Priyanka Chopra wore a pair of strappy silver sandals that were completed by thick, shiny metallic silver straps and an open-toe cut.

Braga wore Philipp Plein high-heel leather shoes for the event. Made in Italy and constructed with calf leather, the shoes are enhanced with a high-shine finish and silver-tone hardware. The silhouette is cut in an open-toe style and has a buckle-fastening ankle strap, a chunky high-block heel that measures 5 inches, and a branded leather insole. In addition to the black colorway, the shoes are also available in a mauve pink shade. You can purchase them for a little over $450.
