Alabama Barker Denies Getting Cosmetic Work: 'Let’s Stop Assuming'

“I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t hurt," the 18-year-old daughter of Travis Barker said of negativity she receives online

Alabama Barker is once again denying claims that she’s altered her appearance with cosmetic procedures.

“I’ve had no cosmetic work done to my body!!” the internet personality, 18, wrote over a selfie posted to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, April 23, per a screen grab captured by Page Six. She’d been answering fan questions via her social media account, which has over 2 million followers.

“Let’s stop assuming, not saying I never would, but just not in this moment have I had anything done,” the daughter of Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler wrote in a makeup-free selfie with blond hair.

Another fan asked how she deals with “the negativity that comes [with] being a social media influencer.”

“I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t hurt, but it’s not something I can control,” Alabama wrote over a video of herself. In the clip, she rocked long red hair and nude glam makeup.

“The best thing I can do is just ignore it and realize how blessed and loved I am.”

Alabama has addressed rumors of cosmetic work in the past.

In February, she responded to a critic in her comment section after posting an Instagram carousel wearing a bikini and a red, black, yellow and green crochet swimsuit coverup.

“This child has done alot of cosmetic surgery @ a very young age, I hope she doesn't over do it! She looks good now!” a user wrote under her post.

After seeing the remark, Alabama left a comment of her own.

“I really appreciate the love ! I’m natural, besides my lips, accept the fact I’m naturally beautiful,” the aspiring musician replied.

The teen has also addressed her weight on more than one occasion.

While answering fan questions on Tuesday, Alabama said her weight gain was due to “thyroid issues,” adding a sad face emoji.

Last summer, she asked social media users to keep their opinions about her appearance to themselves.

“Paparazzi will purposely take pictures of you with your mouth open, middle of a sentence and any ugly picture they can get of you just for views,” Alabama said in an August 2023 TikTok.

“I would love to see you guys getting random pictures taken of you when you’re leaving the grocery store, in the middle of a sentence, with your mouth wide open … and let’s see how beautiful you look.”

She stated that she has “a thyroid problem and an autoimmune disease,” adding, “So it would be very appreciated if you guys just keep your opinions to yourself. It’ll get you further in life.”
