FOND DU LAC — Now's your chance to test your miniature artistic prowess.

Registration is open for a free 4-inch-by-4-inch canvas for the Fond du Lac Public Library's new Tiny Art Contest, where participants of all ages can submit their "mini-masterpieces" between April 22 and 29 for a chance to win a prize.

Artists can supply their own canvases as long as they're the same size, but a limited number are available and can be reserved at calendar.fdlpl.org for pickup at the library's Help Desk.

Any medium or supplies can decorate the canvas, except food or perishables, and the artwork must fit within the canvas. The artwork and titles must also be appropriate for all ages.

Prizes will be awarded to Best in Show and Library Staff Choice for each of four age categories: ages 0 to 5 are Littles, 6 to 12 are Kids, 13 to 18 are Teens, and 19 and older are Adults.
