It’s Wednesday. That means it’s almost time for AEW Dynamite.

This week’s episode of Dynamite goes down at Everett’s Angel of the Winds Arena in Washington. The show kicks off at 8 PM ET on TBS.

We’ve got a series of matches and segments coming up live in just a matter of time. So, without further ado, let’s check out what’s in store for AEW Dynamite this week.

Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Moné sign the contract

Mercedes Moné suffered an ankle injury during her match against Willow Nightingale at NJPW Resurgence last year. The two would ultimately cross paths after Moné signed with AEW in March 2024. Moné’s arrival was followed by a TBS Championship win for her archrival at AEW Dynasty.

Both women will put pen to paper tonight on AEW Dynamite less than two weeks ahead of their title clash at AEW Double or Nothing. Will we see any physicality during the contract signing segment? There’s only one way to find out!

Jon Moxley & Bryan Danielson vs. Jeff Cobb & Kyle Fletcher

Bryan Danielson made his in-ring return this past Saturday on AEW Collision. The American Dragon teamed up with fellow BCC member Claudio Castagnoli against Top Flight. BCC picked up the win after nearly 14 minutes of action.

Tonight, Danielson makes his AEW Dynamite in-ring return in another tag team match. The Dragon teams up with Jon Moxley against Jeff Cobb and Kyle Fletcher. Cobb is being brought in by Don Callis to take out Mox weeks following the knee injury to Powerhouse Hobbs.

Toni Storm vs. Harley Cameron

Harley Cameron created a lot of buzz with her in-ring debut last week on AEW Dynamite. Despite her best effort, the Australian superstar failed to beat Mariah May in singles action. Cameron goes toe-to-toe tonight with the AEW Women’s World Champion herself, “Timeless” Toni Storm.

Storm is set to defend her world title against Serena Deeb at AEW Double or Nothing. Will we see “The Professor” tonight on Dynamite, or will there be no distraction for Storm as she takes on Harley Cameron?

HOOK returns to AEW Dynamite

We haven’t seen HOOK since he dropped his FTW Championship to Chris Jericho at AEW Dynasty. The Learning Tree has found himself a new protégé in Big Bill ever since. The duo picked up the win against local enhancement talent last week on AEW Dynamite.

Jericho was told HOOK would be making his comeback on the May 15, 2024, episode of Dynamite. The time has come. What will the former FTW Champion have to say? We’ll find out tonight.

Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson vs. Christopher Daniels & Matt Sydal – AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator

Matthew and Nicholas Jackson got in Christopher Daniels’ face last week on AEW Collision. Matt said he hired Daniels. This clearly pissed off the former Fallen Angel. Daniels said he earned his job with All Elite Wrestling.

Daniels is not set to team up with Matt Sydal against EVP Bucks. This is a world tag team title eliminator match. Can Daniels and Sydal managed to earn a title shot against the Jackson Brothers, or will the EVP’s resort to underhanded tactics once again?

Swerve Strickland vs. Brian Cage – AEW World Title Eliminator

Brian Cage and The Gates of Agony betrayed Swerve Strickland last week on AEW Dynamite. Strickland got his payback when he took out Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona this past Saturday on AEW Collision. The AEW Champion destroyed Liona with a steel chair as Cage watched.

Swerve versus Cage is set for this week’s Dynamite. If Cage wins the match, he gets a future world title shot against Strickland. Can The Machine get the win? Will the Patriarchy get involved? Find out tonight on Dynamite.

Roderick Strong & Will Ospreay face-to-face on AEW Dynamite

Will Ospreay became the number one contender to Roderick Strong’s International Title weeks ago on AEW Dynamite. The Aerial Assassin found himself at the mercy of Undisputed Kingdom following his match against Lee Moriarty last week on Collision.

The challenger and the champion come face-to-face on Dynamite tonight. Can Ospreay exact his revenge on Strong for what he did to him on Collision? Will the AEW International Champion once again have the last laugh?

Adam Copeland calls out Malakai Black on AEW Dynamite

Adam Copeland’s feud with the House of Black continues this week on Dynamite. The Rated R Superstar has already beaten Buddy Matthews and Brody King in back-to-back TNT title defenses on AEW television.

Tonight, Cope calls out the leader of the House himself, Malakai Black, just 11 days before their highly-anticipated clash at Double or Nothing. Will Black respond? We will find out on AEW Dynamite.

Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Dax Harwood – AEW Continental Championship

Dax Harwood had a solid throwback match against Dynamite Kid’s nephew Tommy Billington on AEW Collision. The two men wrestled a technical match with Dax’s signature hard-hitting offense on display against Tommy’s mix of high-flying technical offense.

Tonight, Dax the Axe takes on Kazuchika Okada for the AEW Continental Championship. This match has the potential to tear the house down. Can Dax defeat the Rainmaker to claim his first singles title in AEW?

Wrestlezone will have full coverage of AEW Dynamite as it airs.
