Maybe it's the lack of caffeine but Starbucks customers can get pretty sassy with their baristas.

For the most part, these coffee-serving heroes are extremely patient: They tolerate your insane requests to make drinks that aren't on the menu, all while you demand that they look as beautiful as they do on Instagram. And yet, many customers are still rude AF.

In a recent Reddit thread, Starbucks baristas shared the most annoying things customers have done (and continue to do). Here's what you should probably stop doing when you grab your morning cup of happiness coffee.

1. Thinking every drink is yours.

"Last week a girl in [a drive-through] started jumping up-and-down in her seat, clapping and yelling at me that there's no whipped cream on her drink. It wasn't even her beverage!!" -Marleymescudi

2. Yelling at a barista.

"When a customer screeches, 'I said no whip!' for a drink that is not even theirs." -Baileythedove

3. Ignoring baristas.

"Pretty much anything a customer says while ordering while also still on their phone. Drives me crazy and is really rude." -Mjz348

4. Not paying attention.

"In response to 'hot or iced?' I get 'yes.' A lot." -StormTheParade

5. Being impatient AF.

"Customer: Hey, where's my water? I've been waiting for, like, five minutes.

"Me: I apologize sir, but I haven't even seen that ticket yet. They print out in the order we receive them.

"Customer: Well this is ridiculous. It's just water! Can't you make it now?!?

"Me (internally): HRNRJDOWOCBJWKWPAKQJF!!!!!!!!" -CollegeMascot

6. Not knowing the difference between drinks.

"Customer: Can I get a white mocha without the mocha?

"Me: Our white mocha is actually only made with white chocolate. *Customer service smile.*

"Customer: OK, but I don't want chocolate??????" -Skysky1018

7. Not knowing how the sizes (grande, tall, venti) work.

"There's a lady who comes through drive-through semi-regularly and orders a large venti. We ask, 'A venti what?' And she get mad and just says, 'I want a large venti with cream and Splenda.' She just repeats it over and over. " -Twirlergirl42

8. Being just plain rude.

"'Hi sir, ho-'

"Tall pike! *Throws cash on the counter.*" -Aichandesu

9. Touching the scanner.

"People who try to move my scanner so they can scan their phone. Especially when I'm still entering their order." -Kayleegean
