Amazon's first-ever Prime Early Access Sale kicked off yesterday, and the shopping event is steeped with deals to help shoppers prepare for the holiday season before Black Friday. Amazon's Prime Early Access Sale is a 48-hour shopping event (ending tonight) with discounts across categories where Prime members will find some of the site's lowest prices all year outside of its more seasoned counterpart, Prime Day.

To take advantage of the Prime Early Access Sale, shoppers wanting to enjoy the exclusive deals must have an active Amazon Prime account. The membership is $14.99 per month or $139 for a full year (and amazon even offers a 30-day trial), which also comes with benefits such as free two-day shipping, movie and TV streaming, and access to e-books.
