As the 150th Kentucky Derby approaches, here's another way to join in on the fun: With brunch!
During the week of the "Run for the Roses," several local venues will host Derby-themed brunches.
From dining at the Kentucky Derby Museum to a pre-race breakfast at the Omni Hotel to a Kegs and Eggs event in NuLu, these events offer plenty of tastes (and plenty of bourbon) to pair with your May 4 festivities.
Be sure to get your tickets soon as many of these events sell out. Here are seven Kentucky Derby brunches to check out this year.
Mayor's Derby Brunch on the River
WHAT: Come out and enjoy a festive brunch featuring a traditional Kentucky breakfast, live music, horse-drawn carriage rides and tours of the Farnsley-Moremen property.
WHERE: Riverside, The Farnsley-Moremen Landing, 7410 Moremen Road
WHEN: Saturday, April 28, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
COST: Tickets are $120 for individuals or $900 for a table of 8.

Biscuits & Bourbon
WHAT: Enjoy a southern-inspired brunch, music, unlimited Kentucky Bourbon, mimosas and Bloody Marys. Ticketholders will top off their brunch with a day at the races at Churchill Downs Racetrack during Derby Week. The menu includes made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuits, French Toast, and more.

4th annual Kegs & Eggs
WHAT: Celebrate Oak’s Day with Cajun-inspired food, drink and music at Lou Lou on Market in NuLu. Features beignets, Bloody Mary’s, and live music by Danny Flanigan, the event benefits Apron Inc., which helps Louisville’s independent restaurant community. Special menu items include shrimp ‘n’ grits, biscuits with crawfish swamp gravy, a breakfast burger, and Banana Foster French toast.

2nd Annual Derby Breakfast at the Omni Hotel
