28 Years Later has locked in its core cast, and it’s an all-British ensemble.

According to a report by Deadline, the long-awaited zombie sequel will star Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Comer and Ralph Fiennes.

Not much is known about the plot at this point, but it looks set to continue on from  the first two movies, 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later.

The 2002 first film stars Cillian Murphy as a bike courier who wakes up in a London hospital to find the place overrun by fast-moving, hyper-aggressive zombies.

The 2007 sequel, set 28 weeks later as the title suggests, follows Robert Carlyle as he navigates life in a London fortress built to safeguard citizens from roaming zombies outside.

Danny Boyle is directing 28 Years Later from a script by Alex Garland, the two reuniting after working together on 28 Days Later. Boyle and Garland also produce 28 Years Later, along with Murphy, who returns as an executive producer.

A trilogy has already been confirmed, with Candyman director Nia DaCosta set to helm the sequel to 28 Years Later. That means Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Comer and Ralph Fiennes may appear in more than one zombie flick.
