Tomi Lahren Is on ObamaCare
Conservative talking head Tomi Lahren appeared in conversation with liberal comedian Chelsea Handler at Politicon on Saturday, and during the sometimes heated exchange, she dropped a surprising tidbit of information.
The Daily Beast reports that in the middle of the conversation, Tomi, who often blasts ObamaCare, aka the Affordable Care Act, let it slide that she is actually benefits from one of the health care plan's key features - the ability for kids to stay on their parents' coverage until they reach 26 years of age.
“Luckily, I am 24, so I am still on my parents’ plan,” she said. The crowd immediately booed her hypocritical stance, but Chelsea asked them to stop making noise because at least Tomi was "being honest."
After admitting to benefiting from a key component of the Affordable Care Act, Tomi still said it was in a "death spiral."
I mean... what do you do with this? Tomi benefits from the life-saving access to health care that Barack Obama made possible, and yet she still rails against it, instead of fighting to make it even better. It's just... my brain. It hurts. Good thing I can go to the doctor when I need to, because this shit is about to send me to an early grave!
