This Lipstick Raised $40,000 for Charlottesville

Beauty brand Lipslut only sells one product, but it's a doozy. It's a matte neutral, pink-tinged liquid lipstick that seems to look flattering on pretty much anyone:

It also happens *happens* to be named "F*ck Trump," and was created by California college students as a way to raise money for socially-conscious causes. Normally, 50% of the lipstick's $19.95 cost went directly to a fund that would be donated to a socially conscious charity - selected by popular vote, of course.

But through the month of August, Lipslut vowed to specifically support victims of the horrific Charlottesville violence, and so far, the Lipslut team has raised over $40,000 to be donated to cover victims' medical bills, and support local chapters of Black Lives Matter and the NAACP.

It's a move that's garnered praise from happy fans:
