Kim Kardashian Wears Distressed Jeans Over Pattern
Kim Kardashian has been through a lot in recent months, which might mean she deserves a break from criticism. That's why the real critique that came to mind when she was spotted out in a casual black outfit with her husband Kanye West on Monday wasn't for her - it was for her jeans. Seriously, why aren't these just shorts? Does not compute.
As has been her M.O. since the awful robbery in October 2016, Kim was ultra laid-back up top in a plain, hooded sweatshirt. The bottom half of her outfit was more of a head-scratcher though. Along with her pullover, she sported a pair of black boyfriend jeans that were pretty much missing their front panel from the upper thigh on down.
In an effort to stay warm (and perhaps add a little extra whimsy?) Kim paired the pants with patterned lace and fishnet tights, which were clearly visible through the GIGANTIC HOLES in her denim. She finished the look with lace-up heels, as one does.
Kim's latest outfit proves there's nothing the Kardashian-Jenner family loves more than a weird AF denim moment. Kim and her fam have always taken jeans a little too far, like when they all wore mostly monochrome double denim looks for a blended family photo in 1991. #Memories.
In 2014, Kourtney's ~thing~ was over-emphasizing the pockets (or lack there-of) in her denim overalls.
And everyone knows Kylie's a denim trend setter. Remember when she provided windows to her ass cheeks by wearing jeans with booty holes in August 2016?
How about when she embellished her New York Fashion Week jorts with lacy pockets and donned a coordinating jacket and problematic headwear for good measure?
And who could forget Kendall's very patriotic voting outfit from November 2016?
Or her cutoff-chaps hybrid from later that month?
But the O.G. daring denim wearer isn't one to be outdone by her sisters. She's constantly pushing jeans to new heights, like when she wore them as over-the-knee boots in July 2016.
Honestly, this denim diaper is actually pretty cute though.
