Reminders of Gwen Stefani’s surprising summer breakup with Gavin Rossdale, her husband of 13 years, are everywhere. As the No Doubt frontwoman raves about her new Harajuku Lovers line for Petco, the question of the animals that she and her three sons keep at home brought about another one.

“We just got a brand new bird and he’s really awesome. He’s really cool,” Stefani tells Yahoo Celebrity. “We have some little turtles. The boys have a dog but he doesn’t live here anymore…."

Oh, right.

"Yeah, ‘oh, oh, oh,’ everybody’s so awkward, I know. It is awkward,” she says before laughing. “[The dog] Chewy will not be wearing this collection. We’re probably getting a new dog."

Stefani — whose sons with Rossdale include 9-year-old Kingston, 7-year-old Zuma, and Apollo, 1 — has been known for her unique sense of style for the more than 20 years since her band hit it big with songs such as "Just a Girl.” Besides wearing bright, fun fashions — including cropped tank tops, funky prints, and even marching band-inspired apparel — she’s created similar looks for her various clothing lines over the years. Her Harajuku Lovers line for humans has been around since 2005, and she creates clothing for kids too, but it’s only now that Stefani’s furry fans are able to get in on the action.

From emoji-printed hoodies to Union Jack sweaters and funky fedoras, Stefani’s trendy line is sure to make any dog’s tail wag. Prices for the 30 pieces in the collection range from $5 to $20, despite what a blingy ring-shaped toy might suggest.

“For me, I wish I could do more. I feel like I’d just gotten started,” Stefani said of her Petco line. “It looks really cute. I think it turned out really good. I think the challenge of it is trying to do things that are unisex; that’s hard, but I think it turned out really cute."

The "Used to Love You” singer’s favorite pieces are the doughnut chew toy and that emoji print. “What we decided to do was to go back to the basics, which was the original inspiration of everything, which was ska music back in the day,” she explains.

In addition to her dog collection, Stefani’s been hard at work on The Voice alongside fellow judge Blake Shelton. (You might have heard about that…)

Stefani’s also been prepping for the most wonderful time of the year.

“I’m a huge holiday person,” she says. “My whole life, my family we’ve done major… everything’s major, ya know? It’s like, OK, a holiday’s coming! OK, let’s make a dress, let’s [get] the patterns, let’s go to the fabric store."

The big days themselves sound cozy.

"We go to my mom’s [and] she does all of the traditional food that everyone pretty much does, and I have a big family with lots of kids and we just do all the same stuff [as everyone else],” Stefani notes. “If football’s on, people are watching it. [There’s] cooking and the kids are playing. My brother plays accordion. It’s kind of nerdy and cute."

And no doubt stylish, even the pets.
