Both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump came out swinging at the first presidential debate on Monday night - and there was little that moderator Lester Holt could do to slow them down.

Despite his best efforts to keep the debate moving at a reasonable pace, Clinton and Trump both talked past their time limits, and largely seemed to ignore Lester's interjections for the majority of the night. As a result, quite a few people were left wondering why Lester wasn't being more aggressive - and, more importantly, if was holding up alright after being "steamrolled."
