YB Loves: The Coolest Summer Makeup Bags Feature Jerry Hall

Makeup bags are for necessity, sure, but I find myself collecting them — especially if they can double as a gorgeous pouch or clutch. This week I spotted two new summer friendly options that I couldn’t resist and I know they’ll put a smile on my face each and every time I reach for them. They come courtesy of makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury and her limited edition collaboration with British fashion photographer Norman Parkinson. The collection includes makeup as well, but I was too distracted by the stunning bags to even test out the cosmetics. The best part: Both bags are adorned with impossibly chic vintage photos of Jerry Hall, who turns 59 today.
The Bathing Beauty Bag ($80), a supersized vinyl pouch, depicts Hall diving into the Black Sea from Vogue in 1975. I’m taking mine to Miami next week and will be cramming in all my beach essentials: Sunscreen, lip balm, refreshing face mist, sunglasses, and a book. But I also might take it shopping or out to dinner. You never know!

The “On Call” Makeup Bag ($45) is more traditional sized and features a photo of Hall in Montego Bay, Jamaica from British Vogue in 1975 — her first Vogue cover shoot! I think it’s the perfect way to tote around my cosmetics all summer and beyond.
