Glossier Cloud Paint
There’s a good reason so many people gush about this blush. It can be somewhat of a lifesaver at times. I’ve used this on my cheeks, lips, and eyes when I’m in a rush, and it’s perfect for travel. Just make sure your top is twisted on tight to avoid a sad blush explosion situation like I experienced not too long ago. ($18, glossier.com)

Cover FX Cream Concealer
You can use concealer in so many ways, and I just find that this mini tube gets the job done to conceal even while on the go without making a huge mess. Also, the creamy texture melts right into my skin without caking up on hot, steamy days. ($27,coverfx.com)

Nars Velvet Matte Foundation Stick
For starters, I have oily skin, so when I received a sample of this matte formulated foundation stick, it felt like it was a godsend. I use the Trinidad shade, and it wears like a second skin. I also love that it is dual-ended and includes a sponge applicator which makes it easy to use anywhere. ($45, sephora.com)

Nyakio Maracujá & Yangu Soothing Oil Restore
I’ve learned over the years that the best way to fight oil is with oil. Yes, it seems absurd, but here’s an example where opposites actually do attract, and oils help to balance out your skin’s naturally produced oils. ($42, ulta.com)

Farmacy Green Screen Daily Environmental Protector Broad Spectrum SPF 30
When it comes to looking for sunscreen that blends beautifully and seamlessly on deeper skin tones, it honestly isn’t easy. This naturally derived protectant rubs on and disappears, leaving you feeling moisturized as well as protected from harmful UV rays. ($36, farmacybeauty.com)

Bumble and Bumble Hairdressers Invisible Oil
I need to have a hair oil on hand, especially if the ocean, sun, or humidity are part of the equation. Whether I’m diving into the water or roaming around a new city, some protection is a must. I like to saturate my hair with this lightweight oil before swimming to keep it from drying out in saltwater, and the UV protectant in this formula doesn’t hurt either. This is the perfect multipurpose oil for styling and maintaining optimal hair health. ($22, bumbleandbumble.com)

Glossier Haloscope in Topaz
In an effort to simplify my on-the-go makeup routine, I swapped out my usual bronzer and fluffy brush contouring duo for the darker shade of Glossier’s highlighter. It stays slightly tacky on skin for a look that’s dewy, not shimmery, and it’s perfect for faking a healthy sun-kissed glow. It doubles as an eyeshadow too, so you can forgo another makeup-bag staple to make space for all the shoes you can’t decide between. ($22, glossier.com)

Foreo Luna Go for Normal Skin
No matter what your skin type is, there’s a Foreo Luna to perfect it. This tiny travel exfoliator makes my skin texture smoother than it’s ever been. Plus, you don’t have to worry about switching out your brush heads like you do with a Clarisonic, and its silicone design is less bacteria-prone.($99, foreo.com)

Maybelline Baby Lips Glow Balm in My Pink
With the exception of going out, I treat traveling as an opportunity to go fresh-faced and give my skin a break from makeup. Still, a little pop of color helps to brighten up your face, and this subtly pink moisturizing balm has been in my purse all summer. The formula adjusts its color based on the pH of your lips, creating a shade that’s unique to you and always flattering. ($5, maybelline.com)

Cover FX Clear Cover Invisible Sunscreen Broad-Spectrum SPF 30
If you’re like me and hate how thick sunscreens feel on your face, this is the product for you. Its matte gel formula feels velvety on skin, doesn’t interfere with makeup or pill up with your other skin care products, and is truly invisible. Finally, a sunscreen that you’ll enjoy wearing. ($45, coverfx.com)

Tarte Amazonian Clay BB Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20
Every time I wear this vegan tinted moisturizer, I get compliments on my skin. It looks dewy, feels light, and has the ideal amount of coverage for day or night. Plus, the extra layer of sun protection that it provides makes me use every last drop. ($36, tarte.com)

Supergoop Tinted Sunscreen
The supergoop tinted sunscreen is something that I wear on a daily basis throughout every season, but I rely on it even more in the summer. I love that it not only provides protection but also covers up any blemishes. It’s thick and makes it so there’s no need for any other products. ($32, sephora.com)

L’Occitane Hand Lotion
I never go anywhere without it, so travel’s no exception! ($8, cosme-de.com)

Head & Shoulders Travel-Size Shampoo
I have out-of-control dandruff, and hotel shampoo just doesn’t suffice. Thankfully, Head & Shoulders makes travel sizes! ($1, bedbathandbeyond.com)

EOS Crystal Lip Balm
The spherical lip balm is super easy to toss into any small bag and bring with me on the go. I’m obsessed with the new formula that has both sunscreen and aloe vera in it, providing ultimate protection for my lips during the summer. Not to mention, the see-through formula makes for a super-cool aesthetic. ($5, ulta.com)

Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation
Foundation is the last thing you want to worry about while on vacation, so this stick formula gets rid of any hassle. The foundation has a wide range of shades, so you can mix and match with your ever-changing summer glow. And you don’t need a lot to cover up any problem areas before you head out. ($25, anastasiabeverlyhills.com)

NYX Professional Makeup Dewy Finish Setting Spray
So many setting sprays come in large spray bottles that are super difficult to pack into a small carry-on, but this one is the perfect size. The 60mL bottle holds more than enough product for any getaway and can easily fit into your makeup bag. This has become a favorite item of mine, especially during the summer, so I don’t have to sacrifice the longevity of my makeup for any extra space in my suitcase. ($8, ulta.com)

R + Co Death Valley Dry Shampoo
This is the dry shampoo that I use in my daily life, and I absolutely love it. It smells great, it works super well, and R + Co has also made it in a travel size. I often travel to pretty off-the-beaten-path places, and showers, water pressure, etc. can be unpredictable. It’s really nice to have a tried-and-true dry shampoo to spritz on and feel slightly more human even when I’m roughing it. ($17, randco.com)

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes
These are absolutely the best makeup-removing wipes, and when traveling they are super all-purpose; they can be what you clean your face with, your hands with (in a pinch), and if you’re wearing makeup, of course, they’re great for removing that too. Also, since they’re towelettes, you don’t have to worry about TSA taking away your bottle of eye-makeup remover. ($8, neutrogena.com)

Tata Harper Volumizing Lip and Cheek Tint — Very Naughty
This is a bit of a splurge, but when you’re traveling and don’t want to bring all of your beauty products, it’s awesome to have a lip and cheek tint in one. This one is great because it can look super natural or super glam, depending upon how much you put on. ($36, tataharperskincare.com)

Glossier Invisible Shield Sunscreen SPF 35
I don’t go anywhere without sunscreen, and this one in particular has become one of my favorites. It’s like a clear gel that absorbs quickly into your skin without leaving a greasy residue or white caste. It’s also cruelty-free and paraben-free, and it won’t clog up pores. Plus, the small bottle doesn’t take up much precious real estate in my toiletries kit. ($34, glossier.com)

Supergoop! Advanced Anti-Aging Eye Cream SPF 37
I always use a separate eye sunscreen designed for that delicate under-eye area, and this one is perfect for travel since it takes up very little space. The eye cream protects against UV rays, hydrates, and contains light-reflecting mica minerals to reduce the appearance of fine lines. I also like the angled metal applicator, which feels nice and cool. ($32, supergoop.com)

Eminence Clear Skin Probiotic Cleanser
One of my best friends gave me an Eminence starter kit for my birthday, and I became hooked. I ordered a second one — the Clear Skin starter kit because adult acne — and take the pint-size probiotic cleanser with me whenever I travel. The organic cleanser (which is cruelty-free) contains tea tree oil and cucumber, as well as sweet almond milk and yogurt to help clear your skin without stripping it dry. The kit also comes with a travel-friendly Clear Skin Probiotic Moisturizer, Masque, and Willow Bark Booster-Serum. ($58 for kit, eminenceorganics.com)

Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream
The travel size version may be tiny, but a little goes a long way with this highly moisturizing cream, which contains hyaluronic acid, amino-peptides, and niacinamide to plump up your skin and reduce fine lines while you sleep. ($10, target.com)

Neutrogena Makeup Cleansing Towelettes
These travel-friendly wipes are a beloved beauty staple for a reason: They gently remove makeup in a snap — no need to rinse or worry about a liquid makeup remover spilling its contents all over your bag. ($2.50, neutrogena.com)

Frederic Fekkai Blow Out Hair Refresher Dry Shampoo
When you’re on the go and don’t have time to wash your hair, a little spritz of dry shampoo can be a savior. I love Fekkai’s version since it refreshes without leaving hair feeling stiff and it doesn’t turn your strands white like you just dumped talcum powder on them. Oh, and the scent is amazing, and it comes in a compact 1.7 ounce travel size. ($10, jet.com)
