With Kylie Jenner's recent announcement that her newest Lip Kit will be a dark, shimmery black, it's safe to say metallic makeup is officially in style. But in case you still need a little extra push to give this bold look a try, look no further than this absolutely mesmerizing video of makeup artist Ashley Rosales applying metallic lips in a variety of colors.
In the video, Ashley uses an oval-shaped lip brush to apply lip composites - a part lipstick, part lipgloss, part lip stain hybrid that sounds and looks like magic. Her application is super smooth and all kinds of flawless; and along with being one of the most soothing videos of all time, it's also definitive proof that metallic lips are here to stay.
The colors in the video are all a part of Ashley's Lip Stax collaboration with Who Is She Cosmetics, which includes 14 gorgeous metallic shades in a rainbow of colors and is available now for $45.
