Kim Kardashian has started a contouring revolution. With 427,000 YouTube videos to teach you to contour, nearly half of them are focused around Kim’s personal method. It comes as no surprise, since the reality star is the ultimate expert on faking angular cheekbones and radiant skin (with a little help from good genes).

This week, Kardashian posted a video tutorial on her subscription-based website and app to get her look from an Armenian Bar Association Dinner event. The video reveals all of the products that go into giving Kim’s face a chiseled effect. Another video from her app with makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic (better known as MakeupbyMario) takes on lip contouring. Here are all the steps to creating a face as bright and angular as Kim’s.

Step 1: Apply Giorgio Armani Designer Shaping Cream Foundation in circular motions all over your face. “Don’t forget to carry your foundation down your neck,” Kardashian says. Unfortunately this foundation is now discontinued, but a similar replacement is the Giorgio Armani Crema Nuda Tinted Cream ($200).

Step 2: Apply Smashbox Sunkissed Matte Bronzer ($42) down the sides of your nose.

Step 3: Highlight your nose using Sephora Bright Set Finishing Powder ($16). “Take a light powder down the bridge of your nose to highlight,” says Kardashian.

Step 4: Cheekbones come next, and Kardashian’s product of choice is MAC Studio Fix Concealer NC 20 ($19). “Using a damp Beautyblender, apply a highlighting concealer under your eyes in a V shape to make your cheekbones pop,” she says.

Step 5: Set your makeup with loose powder.

Step 6: Add NARS Blush in Orgasm ($30) — a universal favorite — to the apples of your cheeks.

Step 7: Apply the powder highlighter to the tops of your cheekbones.

Step 8: Use the matte bronzer to hollow underneath your cheekbones.

A teaser from Kardashian’s contouring video reveals Kim’s favorite individual false lashes and her lipstick, lip gloss, and lip liner of choice. If you’re interested in the fully contoured Kardashian effect, you’re only five more steps away.

Step 1: ‘Today we are going to create the classic Kim Kardashian West nude lip; she loves a peachy lip,’ says Dedivanovic as he kicks off the tutorial. Using Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Iconic Nude ($24), he lines her lips, drawing from the very outer corner to the center. Then, he does the same thing on the other side, meeting in the middle. “This is an easier technique when lining the lips,” he says. He then fills in the lips with liner.

Step 2: Apply Tom Ford Lip Color in Sable Smoke ($52) using a lip brush for a creamy matte nude.

Step 3: Blot off the oils using a tissue to make the lipstick matte.

Step 4: Apply highlighter to your cupid’s bow to “lift up the lips and make them look pouty,” says Dedivanovic.

Step 5: Add a touch of concealer right under the lips using a beauty blender. “This has a lifting effect to the face and lips,” he adds. And voila, in 13 steps you have sculpted your face.
