‘Um ... Beauty’: 6-Year-Old Has the Best Response to Big Brother Making Fun of Her Makeup

You’re never too young to understand the power of makeup, which one 6-year-old proved by shutting down her brother for poking fun at her made-up face.

Little Khloe Dinsmore from Sacramento, Calif., was minding her own business when she walked into her family’s garage and her pesky older brother Kyle got in her face with his video camera. “Khloe, what is on your face?” the 18-year-old asked as Khloe strutted in wearing a fun blue sundress, a beaded necklace, and a natural smattering of makeup on her face.

Her response? The only plausible answer to that question. “Um … beauty.” Mic. Drop.

Khloe said it was such obvious nonchalance, as if to say, “Don’t you know anything about beauty, only one of the most important things in the world?” She also said it with obvious frustration and the amount of confidence we can only dream of having. Khloe then said it again with a lovely smile, touching an eyelid that may have had a faint amount of eyeshadow on it, looking and sounding like a future cover girl.

And the 6-year-old didn’t even do a messy job with her makeup. She has the perfect amount of lipstick and a little eyeshadow — the natural look we all attempt to achieve.

Kyle recognized the one-of-a-kind moment and posted it on Twitter, captioning it perfectly: “I hope everyone can have the same confidence in themselves as my 6-year-old sister.”

Needless to say, the video has gone viral, with more than 39,000 retweets and 53,000 likes. Everyone wants a taste of Khloe’s confidence.

People are even calling her a role model.

Others just love that she shut down the makeup haters.

While most were stunned by this little girl’s bold behavior, her family was not so much. “This is honestly like an everyday thing. I just happened to get it on video that day,” Kyle told BuzzFeed. “She has a very big character; she’s very sassy, so I wasn’t surprised when she said it.”

We are so thankful to Kyle for finally sharing this girl with the world. Khloe is the definition of a beauty queen.
