I Tried Lily Aldridge's Topknot Facelift

From ELLE

Now that you've mastered the Ponytail Facelift, let me introduce you to the topknot rendition. Designed by Kardashian hair guru Justine Marjan, this super high, super slick bun will not only tighten your entire face but also keep the summer humidity from effing with your natural texture. "Plus, if you get a little greasy, it's easily camouflaged," Marjan says.

Check out the look on Lily Aldridge:

So pretty. So smooth. So easy. Here's how it's done.

Step 1: Split it

Separate the hair into two equally divided sections.

Step 2: Smooth it

Work a pomade through the lengths of the hair.

Step 3: Tie it

Secure the top section of hair into a high ponytail.

Step 4: Sleekify it

Brush loose strands up into the pony.

Step 5: Connect it

Bring the two ponytails together with a hair elastic.

Step 6: Slick it

Add more pomade to the lengths of the hair and twist it.

Step 7: Finish it

Secure the twist with bobby pins.

The end!
