This Timelapse Video Will Give You A Serious Case Of Wanderlust

Paul Richardson, a UK-based timelapse photographer, has combined more than 300,000 images of his travels across Europe to create a video entitled "Patience." It's so mesmerizing, more than half a million people have watched the video in less than 24 hours.

Richardson wrote on a reddit thread that it took him about 7 hours per second of footage – or about 1,000 hours total – to edit the video, which features shots of Manchester, Birmingham, Peak District, Liverpool, Paris, and just outside of Reykjavik, Iceland.

And it required a lot of determination to get the perfect shot of each spot, too. For instance, Richardson stayed up all night for four days in Wales to capture the Milky Way scene at the 1:23 mark. Now that's dedication.
