This 57-Year-Old Woman Shows You Can Be Sexy at Any Age

It’s no secret that body confidence often gets better with age, and Julie — a 57-year-old woman from Texas — is living proof of that.

When she was turning 50, she began posting very provocative images of herself on DeviantArt, an online community for artists, and then launched her Tumblr site, The Burning Lotus. (Note: Her site is 100% NSFW — don’t say we didn’t warn you.) The tattooed beauty now has more than 92,000 followers on her extremely graphic site.

It goes without saying that her risqué images are not for everyone — after all, these aren’t just a few coy, partially covered nudes; they are full-on explicit.

However, what Julie’s total nakedness shows is that you can most definitely be sexy no matter what your age. This fact came as a surprise to a few of her followers, with one anonymous man commenting, “I never thought to be so sexually attracted by a 57 years old girl but damn… I am!”

“I simply see the human body as an amazing machine with many moving parts. And parts is parts. Society assigns value and stigma on what is acceptable and what isn’t,” the Austin resident told the Huffington Post.

She added that she’s “tone deaf” when it comes to so-called societal norms — and if that’s the key to aging as well as she is, count us in.
