The Succulents Beauty Trend: Is It For Real?

Succulents are pretty well known to be the perfect little plants for homeowners, requiring scant attention while still appearing healthy and pretty. However, for those of us without the green thumb needed to care for even that hard-to-kill vegetation, a new Instagram trend is showing us how to still get those gorgeous, plant-like colors in our lives without having to invest in the real deal.

Pretty cool, right? For those who are fans of brightly colored locks, it’s definitely a good option for switching up your look into something more environmentally inspired and different than the oil-slick hair and rainbow  looks that were trending earlier this year.

Considering the fact that gluing the actual succulent plant and a fake base to your nail beds isn’t exactly the healthiest thing for your nails (just think about the brutal removal process that would be involved) — never mind the plant — we can’t help but feel like the hair option is a better one if you’re looking to pay a tribute to your favorite house plant. Just be sure to follow these hair care color tips for keeping your shade brighter and healthier for longer.
