The Poop-Emoji Hair Tutorial You Never Knew You Wanted or Needed
One emoji-inspired costume is going viral.
Super Deluxe, a creative video company that specializes in producing outlandish content, recently released a tutorial for “poop emoji hair.” In the absurd video, stylist Amanda Ozard completely transforms a blond model’s head into the popular icon.
If you’re in the mood for a head-turning Halloween costume, this tutorial is for you. In it, Ozard dyes the model’s hair a chocolate brown color and ties it into a tight, high ponytail, which she then braids. She pulls a hairstyling ring over the braid and continues by wrapping the braid around the ring, fastening it into place as she works. She then uses Crayola Model Magic clay to create eyes and a mouth that imitate the appearance of the emoji, which she then strategically places on the intricate hairstyle. She completes the look by topping it off with a bow and a lot of hairspray to keep it in place.
Two hours after the company uploaded the video to its Facebook page, it had already been viewed more than 61,000 times and liked over 1,000 times. Many users are tagging their friends in the video, suggesting they try out the look for Halloween. Surprisingly, this isn’t the first time this icon has been replicated. Party City has a Boys Poop Icon Costume on sale for $24.99, which even sold out on the website.
