You can't talk about cult favorites in the beauty industry without talking about Sally Hansen. For those who don't know (though let's face it, almost everyone has heard of the brand), Sally Hansen is a drugstore nail polish brand that's been creating high quality polishes for 70 years. The brand is named after a real person, they take their customer feedback seriously, and while the colors and formulas of their polishes are incredible, their brushes are another key to their success. All of that contributes to the reason it's just been discovered that one of their shades is so popular, about 10 percent of the population owns a bottle.
The shade is from Sally Hansen's Miracle Gel line and is called Terra-Coppa. It's a warm, blushed bronze tone and has a glitter finish without being too in-your-face about it. Because of the Miracle Gel formula, no base coat is needed — you just apply a coat or two, follow up with the Miracle Gel Top Coat if desired, and enjoy up to 14 chip-free days.
The combination of promise of long-lasting wear and the gorgeous color are probably why so many people own this shade.
